What Is The Humedia Project?
At the Humedia Project, all of our programs provide a framework for understanding why human beings are vulnerable to misusing or overusing certain technologies and why that matters.
We provide the necessary information and strategies for sustaining a more balanced relationship with technology and enhanced well-being.
We believe that in today’s fast-paced and demanding world, the line between using technology as a tool of convenience and relying on technology as a perpetual comfort or distraction is often difficult to recognize and understand. Technology has found its way into all aspects of our lives at lightning speed and we have not had time to evaluate and consider the impacts of this rapid expansion on the health and well-being of our youth, our relationships, our families, schools, businesses, communities and culture.
The Humedia Project provides the most current research and data regarding the impacts of digital media overuse and addiction and offers comprehensive and innovative strategies for families, couples, individuals, schools and organizations to re-define and re-design how they use technology. Our goal is to help you integrate technology into your life or your community in a manner that is informed, intentional, balanced and sustainable. We want you to thrive and live a life in which technology’s benefits support your human endeavors rather than undermine them.
